Generally, streamers make money by creating content, and lack any substantial form of support or representation within Twitch. Of course, Twitch has representatives for the larger creators, and rightfully so.

However,

the concerns of the creators are not being effectively considered. While the state of the platform is not awful, it could be way better, and most people can see that plainly. That is why the TSU has decided to try and come into existence.

Most of all, we seek an expanded grievance system for smaller and larger creators. Our demands will be clearly outlined once a more substantial number of members arrive.

The Vtuber Streamers Union will work towards:

1. Ensuring that the needs of the streamer are met.

2. Cohesion between all or most communities on all or most matters.

3. Development of monetary support structures for streamers.

4. Adherence to Legal and Regulatory statutes.

5. Multi-linguistic staffing to break down language barriers.

6. Solidifying a list of demands and grievances among members.

7. Making strong allies in other unions.
